Have you travelled to Spain recently? Spanish Accessible Tourism Research by ONCE Foundation Universal Accessibility Observatory

ONCE Foundation, through the Universal Accessibility Directorate, has been carrying out different research on Universal Accessibility in different environments (urban planning, transport, etc.) since 2011, through the Universal Accessibility Observatory.

During 2015 and 2016 the Observatory will focus the research on the situation of Accessible Tourism in Spain.

Spain welcomes over 53 million international tourists a year and tourist activity reached 10.9% of GDP. The current tourism trends observe increased sophistication of supply and demand, the presence of older tourists, increasing demand for quality.

Accessible tourism comprises design facing the whole population, not just people with disabilities but families with children, carrying trolleys, bags, and with special needs at different moments of life.

We have developed a questionnaire for tourists who have travelled to Spain to help us in the research.

It is crucial to count on the user’s opinion, to analyze consumers’ habits and diagnose the state of accessibility in tourism facilities.

We would appreciate anyone that has travelled to Spain to complete the questionnaire on their travel behavior .

The survey will be available from the 7th September to the 30th October.

Thank you in advance for your interest in cooperating with the Observatory of Universal Accessibility in Tourism in Spain.

Well! Disability is not a surcease amongst your path to enjoyment. Grow-up & find the way to live it to extend. There are many resources available in the market to access your trips and journeys more easily. Some of them are Non-Emergency medical transportation Supportive services, which helps you to go throughout the nation to experience the various occasions & to helps you to become independent in your life.
